Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 21, 2026 • Effective Date: August 21, 2026

At Photo2Anything (accessible at https://photo2anything.com), the privacy of our visitors is one of our utmost priorities. This Privacy Policy document details the types of information that is collected and recorded by Photo2Anything, how we use it, our unique client-side privacy architecture, and our compliance with third-party advertising standards including Google AdSense.

1 100% Client-Side Processing — Zero Server File Storage

Unlike traditional online converters, resizers, and PDF tools that upload your documents and pictures to external cloud servers, Photo2Anything operates 100% inside your web browser.

  • No File Uploads: When you select or drag a file (JPG, PNG, WebP, SVG, HEIC, or PDF) into our tools, it is loaded directly into your device's local memory via the browser's native FileReader API.
  • Local Computation: All resizing, compression, OCR text extraction, format conversion, and watermarking are executed locally using modern browser technologies including WebAssembly (WASM) and HTML5 Canvas.
  • No Server Logs or Copies: Your images, personal documents, passport photos, and signatures never leave your device and are never sent over the internet to our servers.

2 Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies

Photo2Anything uses Google AdSense to serve advertisements when you visit our website. Google is a third-party vendor on our site.

Google uses cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to serve ads to our site visitors based on their visit to photo2anything.com and other sites on the internet. Specifically:

  • DoubleClick Cookie: Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history across the web.
  • Third-Party Ad Networks: Third-party ad networks or ad servers use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Photo2Anything. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.
  • No File Access: Third-party advertising partners have absolutely zero access to the files, images, or documents you process on our website.

How Users Can Opt Out of Personalized Advertising

You have the full right to opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

3 Web Analytics & Log Files

Like most standard websites, Photo2Anything follows a standard procedure of using log files and aggregated analytics (Google Analytics). These logs record visitors when they visit websites. The information collected includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks.

This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose is to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement on the website, and gather broad demographic data to ensure optimal performance across different browsers and screen sizes.

4 GDPR Privacy Rights (General Data Protection Regulation)
